Many have asked who exactly we are, so her you go. We are the Concerned Citizens of Scott County, a non-profit group tasked with being the watchdog of Scott County. We are a group of local citizens who currently are working against the building of the biomass power plant in Scott County. In the past we have fought against the creation of a new landfill in Leota, and the Recontech hazardous waste storage facility. There is no membership cost or forms to be a concerned citizens; really all you have to do is show up at one of our meetings and find out how you can help.
